JEANETTE'S BASEMENT INVASION LAUNCH PARTY!

It's finally here! Jeanette's Basement Invasion had it's fantastic launch party last night at Start Boutique where both men and women are catered for with archive as well as new season picks from the man himself, Jeanette.

Tranny punk band, Ladynoise played their riotous set to a packed house which included the likes of Louise Gray, Dominic Jones and Ben Grimes. The bar (gin & tonics if you care to know) was generously provided by our neighbours Callooh Callay.

Select pieces are available for purchase online now. But be sure to check out the Basement Invasion for yourself if you don't want to miss out on everything Jeanette's has to offer! The shop will only be open in Start's basement (42-44 Rivington Street, EC2) for the next two months or so, so don't hang around.

The transformation is complete! Welcome to Jeanette's..

Almost there..

Designer, James Long and friends made Start's basement beautiful by painting a wall and covering it in gold foil..

Among the many treasures that can be found at Jeanette's, including Jessica Ogden archive pieces from seasons past (ranging from the late 90s to early 00s), you can also find beautiful one off pieces that Louise Gray designed especially for Jeanette's Basement Invasion - she even spraypainted a wall!

Select pieces are now available for purchase online however many items are special one off pieces designed especially for Jeanette's, such as some beautiful Roksanda Illincic dresses and Husam El Odeh jewellery, so if you don't want to miss out then make sure you come into the store to dig out some gems yourself. There are also archive pieces from previous collections from designers such as Blaak and made to order items from Omar Kashoura.

We're super excited to announce the return of Jeanette's!

Yes, Jeanette's will be temporarily transforming the basement of Start London's womenswear store, from Friday 30th April in what we're calling our Basement Invasion.

Our compilation this time around includes Spring/Summer picks from the likes of Richard Nicoll, Louise Grey & Christopher Kane, to name but a few - we don't to give it all away!

Plus, we're handpicking an edit to go on sale online - so you can get a piece of fashion history wherever you are in the world.

And of course, we'd never let something like this go passed unnoticed, so we're holding a spectacular launch party at the store to celebrate Jeanette's sensational return!
